Quickbooks Tips
Ctrl+Y – When these keys are pressed on any Form in QuickBooks – ie: Sales Invoice, AP Bill, Check, etc.,QuickBooks will show you the back-end Journal Entry, in debits and credits. This is very cool because some people still think that QB is not a double-entry accounting system, and this puts that to rest once and for all. It also helps an accountant (or user for that matter) figure out what the effect of their entry is, on the GL.
Ctrl+M – Memorize the current transaction
T - Changes date to today's date
Y - Changes date to beginning of year
M - Changes date to beginning of month
H - Changes the date to end of month
R - Changes date to end of year
Ctrl+1 – Shows crucial QB information.
